Please acknowledge you intend to be a supportive beta tester by understanding this is not a complete service. Our servers will attempt 99% uptime, but will likely require scheduled maintenance every so often until the full release of our official service. Proton Cortex reserves the right to suspend your beta server at any time especially if you commit any malicious acts with our servers. This includes but not limited to Network Attacks; Resource Abuse such as utilizing our service for something other than a game server; or attempting to hinder someone else's account or server. Your server will be potentially shutdown when the beta ends unless you want to purchase a plan when it is fully released. It will be a seamless experience to transition into a paid plan when we announce official status. If you don't like our service or want to explore other options if the time comes, we will provide all your server files by request up to 30 days after server suspension. During beta, users are required to stay in our official Discord so we can account for active users. Leaving the Discord will result in your server being suspended. We will not provide any server files in this case scenario. We keep backups of all servers, but during beta, you should account for your own backups and should not expect Proton Cortex to guarantee your data at this time. Pre-generation of terrain on any game is strictly forbidden if it increases your server size past 10GB. If your server is using excessive resources, we will notify you via Email or Discord about the problem & will expect a prompt fix to the issue. If you do not fix excessive use, we reserve the right to suspend your server with no future file access. Privacy is very important to us. All connected clients will appear as your server IP address. This is to provide security to your clients which means in turn; IP banning/tracking will be non-functional. If your server needs IP addresses for some type of functionality, you will need to submit a ticket describing why, for us to enable IP passthrough. Plugins or Mods may not exceed 75GB at this time, but we are somewhat lenient depending on per use case. For any help or support regarding setting up your server or game, please use the appropriate channels in the Discord, or submit a valid ticket on our support page. We at Proton Cortex will never provide any of your private information to any outside parties. By accepting to these limited conditions, we will do our best to provide a seamless experience to you & your players.
